Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Her mother, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam, and is of Chinese ancestry, while the father of her, Winston Barrett Munn, is from a family with long-standing roots in the American South. Olivia was just two years old when her parents split up. Her family consisted of both her mother and stepfather who was a United States Air Force member. Even though the family moved out of Oklahoma and resided in many areas, she was brought up in Tokyo, Japan. At the time, she participated in various local stage productions. In later years, she became an Japanese model. Olivia relocated to Los Angeles when her family eventually returned home to America. United States to follow her dream to be an actress. Following a handful of small roles, her career took a very promising turn when she was offered the character as Mily Acuna on the Hawaii-lensed television series Beyond the Break (2006) and the role of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan (2007). She hosts "The Daily Nut", "Formula D" as well as "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. The sport of surfing is a passion for her, and she practices it since the TV series Beyond the Break (2006). Additionally, she holds black belts in Taekwondo. The woman she married was her mother when she was just two years old, to an Air Force officer. Family members have moved around numerous times. She lived the majority of her life in Tokyo Japan since that was the location where her father was stationed. She studied journalism in the University of Oklahoma and also minored Japanese as well as dramatic arts and drama.
